    New Artisans Market Sets California Food Law

    The Local Artisans Market is Making California History….

    Who: Local Artisans Market was established January 1, 2013 when the new California Cottage Food Law went into effect and takes pride in being the first weekly cottage food fair in California. This new law enables individuals to create a wide variety of food items in their home kitchen, such as baked goods, breads, pasta, pies, cereals, dried fruits, candies and popcorn. Local Artisans Market is pioneer in providing a new venue for these cottage food artisans to sell their homemade, hand-crafted foods to the public.

    What: Local Artisans Market is partnering with La Cumbre Plaza in Santa Barbara to offer a weekly Friday market on the plaza offering specialty food items including organic, fair trade, gluten free, all natural, homemade and hand crafted goodies.

    When: Every Friday starting March 1, 2013 from 3-7pm

    Where: La Cumbre Plaza, 121 S. Hope Ave
