Bassinet Baby Shower Cake This cake is made using a 16" round cake. The cake was ganached then covered with fondant. The decrations are all made with fondant. The pearls on the side of the bassinet are piped royal icing. The small pink roses are made with chocolate ganache.

Fish Fry Cake Gum paste recipe card hand painted, gum paste eggs, cake "ball" hush puppies, modeling chocolate aluminum pan over a 4" cake with modeling chocolate peaches & crush then brushed on piping gel. Large pot is 2-10" cakes (4 layers total) covered with modeling chocolate and air brushed silver. Small pot of beans is a 4" cake covered with modeling chocolate and modeling chocolate beans. Fish and cole slaw bowl are rice crisps. Carrots are gum paste.
King Kong Head This cake was made for a 13 year old boy, who requested a KING KONG HEAD. the prominent feature had to be the scar. It was made using strawberry white choc mud cake, white choc ganash, white modelling chocolate, fondant and air brushed.
Coral Radiance Fantastic colour scheme,simple, elegant, chic sweet rendezvous with the dashing young couple Asha and colour made me think of the phrase "where the light meets". Although simple, I feel it's taken on it's own and Off white theme,a non flowery tale with lots of texture brought by coral and white ruffle pom poms, centered with a large fabric textured ruffle, and sugar lace doilies to add to the Midas touch. This is my first ever 4 tier "fancy" wedding cake that I made for our friends a few weeks ago. It was not without its many challenges since I was trying out a few new techniques which ended up taking a lot more time than anticipated! It all came together in the end though through perseverance so I am very proud of this one.
